Shipping Policy (Dispatch Policy)
Order processing, quality grading, and dispatch timelines for bulk agricultural commodity orders.

1. Definitions
- "Shipping" / "Dispatch" refers to the process of quality-testing, grading, weighing, packing, and handing over bulk agricultural commodities to the transport/logistics partner.
- "Delivery" refers to the transit and final arrival of the consignment at the buyer's facility. See our separate Delivery Policy.
2. Order Processing and Dispatch
- Wholesale orders are processed within 1–2 business days of order confirmation and payment receipt, subject to stock availability.
- Custom grading, moisture testing, or export-grade certification may require an additional 1–2 business days.
- Orders placed after 2:00 PM IST are treated as received on the next business day.
- Business days: Monday – Saturday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM IST. Sundays and public holidays are excluded.
3. Packing and Loading Standards
- Bulk commodities (rice, pulses, oilseeds, wheat) are packed in HDPE/PP woven bags (25 kg / 50 kg standard) or as per buyer specification.
- Each bag is sealed, weighed, and labelled with commodity name, grade, net weight, batch number, and date of packing.
- Container-load shipments for export customers are loaded under supervision with photos and tally sheets provided.
4. Seasonal Availability
Agricultural commodities are subject to crop seasons (Kharif, Rabi, Zaid). Availability and pricing fluctuate with harvest cycles, mandi rates, and government procurement policies. We will inform you within 1 business day if an ordered commodity is temporarily unavailable and offer alternatives or a refund.
5. Delivery Time
Delivery times may vary depending on your location. Typically, orders are shipped and delivered within 3–7 business days. Please note that delays may occur due to high demand during the festive season or unforeseen circumstances like weather and transport disruptions.
6. Order Tracking
Once your order is shipped, you will receive a tracking number via email, allowing you to track your shipment in real time.
6. Shipping / Freight Charges
Freight charges depend on consignment weight, distance, and mode of transport (road/rail/container). Charges are communicated in the quotation before order confirmation. Buyer may arrange own transport (ex-warehouse pickup) by prior agreement.
7. Address and Documentation
Buyers must provide accurate delivery address and GSTIN for e-waybill generation. KRISH AGRO is not responsible for delays arising from documentation errors.
8. Force Majeure
Dispatch may be delayed during monsoon disruptions, crop shortages, mandi closures, transport strikes, or government procurement restrictions. Buyers will be notified immediately of any such events.
